Synopsis - While fighting for their lives at the siege of Minas Tirith, Gandalf the wizard consoles Merry the hobbit with a description of the Undying Lands. Pippin: I didn't think it would end this way. Gandalf: End? No, the journey doesn't end here. Death is just another path... One that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass... And then you see it. Pippin: What? Gandalf?... See what? Author C. S. Lewis' wife, Joy Gresham, is dying of cancer, prompting him to pray for divine intervention. A priest, Harry Harrington, tries to offer words of encouragement.
